BetProtocol’s tech development continues at a super fast pace.
In the last months we’ve on-boarded more developers to our tech team and streamlined our processes to ship more code, with higher quality, faster.
The entire tech team’s focus in these next few sprints are to deliver BetProtocol’s Esports 1.0
This is a major milestone that allows us to enter a betting market that is growing at 38%+ compound annual growth rate!
The Esports 1.0 Milestone will include:
- CS:GO & League of Legends at launch
- Overwatch, PUBG & Dota 2 soon after
- Fixed Pre-match odds and betting
- Match live streaming
- Major Esports Leagues coverage
Although we tend to shy away from putting a hard release date on any milestone (there are always tests and security audits that take time), we are fairly confident in predicting that Esports 1.0 milestone will be delivered in Q4 of 2020.
Progress So Far:
As stated earlier, the entire tech team is focused on delivering Esports. The screenshot above is of a working prototype of our Esports management software already integrated into our Client Portal 2.0.
This process is wrapping up and going into final closed beta testing and security audits.
In parallel, the frontend teams are working on implementing a working prototype and the integration of live streaming.
We are very excited and are on track to deliver what will be one of the biggest technical developments to date for BetProtocol: Esports betting.
